Arthatel’s 300Mbps Bandwidth Connected Crew and Crowd at Djakarta Warehouse Project 2017
Jakarta – Djakarta Warehouse Project 2017 (DWP) is the ninth edition of the biggest EDM music festival in Southeast Asia. Attracting a 90,000 strong crowd in its 2016 run, DWP 2017 was expected to draw even more during its two day run at Jakarta International Expo, Kemayoran, Jakarta. More crowds mean more opportunities for social media moments, thus demanding bandwidth requirements.
As DWP’s sole network partner since 2014, Arthatel has serviced the event with a 300Mbps Bandwidth on Demand (BoD). Bandwidth on demand is an excellent solution to meet short-term need of extra bandwidth utilizing unused service ports without disrupting existing services. The BoD was put to great use by Ismaya Live crew to ensure a silky smooth festival experience for the DWP 2017 goers. As for the EDM loving crowd, the same BoD was distributed across 15 WiFi access points throughout the venue made sharing memorable events on social media much easier.
